Yankees-Red SoxSorry. I thought Oakland was doing good this year? I guess, I better check the standings more.

You know who my favorite player used to be, as a Yankee?

 Rickey Henderson.

Oh, and Giambi hit a 3-run bomb, last night.

Yankees-Red SoxWell, I regret to inform you that because of last night's loss to the Red Sox, the Yankees are now tied for first place with them, and, with two games left in the season, against each other.

Not many fans, and definitely not many Red Sox fans, otherwise this thread would've been shot down, last night at 10:30.

My recap of last night's game:
-Home Plate Umpire sucked ass especially late in the game
-Yankees shelled Boston Red Sox pitching all night long (except for
three straight strikeouts by Mike Timlin in the 8th/9th
-Boston Red Sox had one inning that would've never happened had
Tino Martinez been playing 1st base, Chien-Ming Wang hadn't have been uncharacteristically off-target,, and my socks were on.

Joe Torre said of the bad inning, "We didn't make one play in that inning. I think [Wang] may have been squeezed on the Nixon walk; aside from that, I thought he certainly pitched well enough to win."

The Yankees win the Division Title.
I will not post during the playoffs because I don't think they will win.

 But Go Yanks
