Anyone dried their crop outdoors?

Hello fellow mellows. My crop is looking good-so good that it may overload my limited drying capacity. So I am considering trying to dry some of it outdoors, but am concerned about possible detrimental effects to the flavor, texture or smoothness of the smoke. Has anyone tried an outdoor dry? Any advice, cautions, drawbacks? TIA

get a pup tent set it up so a draft will blow througt it. stack fur branches evenly accross the bottom of tent lay your weed on top evenly. repeat layers untill tent is full.

Thanks for the reply Swamptrash. That sounds like it would work, but probably not practical for my present situation due to security concerns. Does anyone else have any words of wisdom?

Thanks Hugebuds. Do you know where I can find a box that can handle 16 bushes, all 10 feet tall?

I harvested about 1/3 of it just tonight. It is hanging in some smallish trees in a relatively remote area. I plan to move it indoors after a few days.

The bad news is I will be laid off from my job in a week, so don't dare even try smoking it in case I have a drug screening test for a new employer. Sigh....well it will be all the sweeter when I can smoke again. In the meantime I shall have a few friends sample it.
