Torog is right; if you're really concerned about your e-mail security, Hotmail is not the way to go. And even if you don't want to use Hushmail anymore, Hotmail dwarfs in comparison to Gmail. I use Gmail for all my e-mail purposes since I don't discuss sensitive or illegal activities in my e-mail. It's fast, easy, has no ads and you get more space than you know what to do with. I've had quite a few Hushmail accounts; I get them for different reasons but then it takes so much longer to log in to the site that I don't use it that often and then after a couple of weeks my account expires, so next time I need it I just make a new one...
