Millions of years ago there weren't people cultivating and maintaining any particular species of plant. Cannabis will be around until something causes it not to be, or until human stop taking recreational drugs altogether.

I cant really see our civilisation evolving without cannabis but if it were to, we (as humans) would eiter have to die out or reach a level of consciousness that doesnt require drugs for entertainment.

one day (far far in the future) there will be no more weed. think about it. millions of years ago there were thousands if not more specices of plants AND animals that dont exist today. they had to later mutate or evolve into different species. one day maijuana will evolve into something else. what if it turned into a more useful plant that was more potent? or just a useless weed. no pun intended. haha just something to think about.
