one day (far far in the future) there will be no more weed. think about it. millions of years ago there were thousands if not more specices of plants AND animals that dont exist today. they had to later mutate or evolve into different species. one day maijuana will evolve into something else. what if it turned into a more useful plant that was more potent? or just a useless weed. no pun intended. haha just something to think about.

Millions of years ago there weren't people cultivating and maintaining any particular species of plant. Cannabis will be around until something causes it not to be, or until human stop taking recreational drugs altogether.

yeah, plants millions of years ago did not have hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people growing them. plus we have tons of seed banks....and if their, for some reason, was a shortage of seeds, growers would just mate their plants.

*sigh* how many times does it need to be said? evolution is NOT this thing that magically happens to everything every so often just because. it's natural selection, the plant with the genetic code that gives it the upper hand to survival, becoming more prominant in the gene pool. weed is controlled and bred by humans now, and therfor we control it's evolution. it's not going to evolve into some useless plant unless we breed it to do so.
