Where did you learn that the Northern hemisphere was populated first? I'm not doubting you at all, I just didn't know that.

Did you know in Australia they read maps the other way round to us? If we looked at an Australian map we would think it was upside down, because it would be.

I don't know if that's true or not, I just made it up, but it would be cool.

the northen hemasphere was maped first then , and i can assure you in Australia we dont read maps upside down , all maps are drawn with the north pointing up.
Whats funny tho is all maps made in Australia have Australia in the middle of them, just like maps made in America have America in the middle of them and maps made in england have england in the middle of them.

I'm from melbourne down the south, are there many other aussies on these forums?

Well (depending what time of day it is) you could be going towards the sun so maybe it would count as up.

Well...our suns a star, so you're just as close to a different sun, in a different galaxy...far, far away.
