If the US had been a democracy, we would not have had to deal with Tim Mcveigh, the abortion clinic bomber, the unibomber, the weather underground, the klan, puerto rican nationlists. The Uk would not have had to deal with the subway bombers, or even the IRA, there would not have been a red army brigade in every european country, nor basque separatists.
