i found a thing of pills in my house and i was wondering if they get you high and how do i take them with out hurtting myself, they are called promethazine and generic darvocet.

okay, promethazine hydrochloride is an antihistamine used to make yourself throw up (no just kidding, it's an antiemetic, meaning it prevents it) and I've only heard of darvocet, but I think it's for pain. ////////As to mixing them, you're on your own.

I'd say.. don't take it. You really don't want to mess with any random pills that you "found in your house". I strongly recommend that you just leave them where they are, forget about where they are.

Darvocet is a combination of acetaminophen (Tylenol) and propoxyphene designed to relieve mild to moderate pain. Propoxyphene binds to the pain receptors in the brain so that the sensation of pain is reduced. Acetaminophen halts the production of prostaglandins which otherwise cause pain. It is formulated as a tablet taken every 4 hours by mouth. Since propoxyphene can be habit forming, care must be taken to follow the doctor's instructions when taking Darvocet. Do not take a larger dose, or take it more frequently, or take it for longer than the doctor has prescribed.

I've used promethazine before (prescribed). It always made my stomach feel better and made me very sleepy. I'm not sure it would be very fun to use recreationally.

well the darvo gave me buzz, but i only took 1 and 1/2 pills. if gives you a nice downer feeling.
