Ok I did not read this whole post thread but as far as safety goes heres my tips (aka what i do to stay 'safe' while smoking or doing other business of a private matter)

<If your parents do NOT knock before coming in>
- Open alllll the windows possible and if your room/bathroom has a vent open it/turn it on
- Turn the AC on as high as it can go
- Shut your door completely (or as much as you can - some parents don't 'allow' that)
- Have incense burning at all times that you are smoking
- Blow as much smoke as you can manage out the window or vent fan
- Be some place where people entering your room can NOT see you (or see as little as possible of you)

<If your parents DO knock or otherwise let you know they are coming>
(do all of the listed above that are not substituted here)
- Stuff towels (or T-shirts, pants, sweaters...) under your door(s)
- Strip down to underwear that way if they knock just say your getting dressed (just got out of the shower etc.)
- Put a fan near the door facing into your room (sucking air from outside your door into your room)
- Turn on music to a volume where they can kinda hear it before they get to your room

<Always>
- Have a place to hide whatever you have out within reach of yourself
- Know what the 'story' or 'excuse' is if and when they walk in
- Make sure that nothing about you or your room will obviously catch your parents eye or make them want to 'investigate more' (ie. dont leave the joint u just put out behind your ear, dont put a big pink poster that says 420 on it...unless you already have one and ur rents dont mind )

If all this fails, when your parents just seem to find out everything you hide try this:

Find a spot in a hallway where people MUST pass to get to your room
Get a piece of dental floss about 8 feet long (whatever size it needs to be to fit across your hallways) and tape it to either side about 1 foot off the floor and then string keys (old keys preferably) to it, you dont need more than 3-5 or it gets too heavy for tape to hold sometimes. Then when you hear a bunch of keys hit the floor usually accompanied by WHAT THE FUCK!?! you know its time to pack up ur shit and hope for the best

y does your dad think you smoke pot. has he caught you high or smelled in on you. if he has just tell him. dad you know i do weed so would good will it do you to find me doing it. if you have not been caught yet you are past due because he must think he knows you do it if mult. times a day he checks on you. what would he even do if he caught you? believe me if you act like pots no big deal and you don't care if he knows sonn he'll just say fuck it. but overall my main advice is stop being such a little bitch, if your 16 your dad should not intimidate you so fucking stand up to him. tell him to stop coming your room and tell him your putting a lock on your room because you what some privacy. tell him that the computer is none of his business and most of all stop being a bitch and tell him that him coming in your room pisses you off. don't hold in those feelings and pay quiet kid like a baby. once you know you could physically bet your dad the rules usually change a bit. man up!
