    Air pumped into hydro stream?

    Hello,

Question/Idea: what about plumbing the air hose (from an air pump) into the stream of water from a water pump?

This would work for hydro NFT setups. I don't think it would work for the others (or provide much improvement).

With the proposed setup, in theory, the Nutrient Film flowing past the roots (inside the PVC pipes) would have air bubbles... thus more oxygen?

    Input and discussiong welcomed!

You use air stones in the holding tank to oxygenate the water in an NFT system.
