You guys seem to like games.

We used to play this game in the military ?.on long nights with nothing to do just trying to occupy our minds to stay awake.

We called it the name game (I don??t think it has a fucking name)

Anyway..

There would usually be a small group of people?two at the least.

someone would start off with a name?..(anybody)

They would say: Boris Yeltsin

Then the next person would have to think of a ??Y? name, and say: Yogi Berra

Then the next person would has to think up a ??B? name?.like Brian Bosworth. But if you say a name that has the same letter for first and last name like Brian Bosworth or Calvin Coolidge or Janis Joplin then the order of play is reversed. So basically the person you just went after has to go again. And they play in reverse order until it is reversed again.

The rules are you can??t use stage names like Sting or Madonna You have to use real names of real people. If you want to use Sting??s real name that??s fine but if the other people in the group don??t know who Gordon Sumner is than you can??t use it.

You can??t just make up names?..

If a name is in dispute than at least one other person has to agree that the name is an actual person?..so basically you can??t use a name that no one else knows but you.

The same name can??t be used twice??

When its someone??s turn to come up with a name?They have to come up with an acceptable name within a certain time period or they are out of the game??Make this time period very generous because the beginning of the game goes by quickly but the end of the game is way tough.

Last one standing wins?..

This game can last for hours and hours.

Do you guys know of other simple games like this?.maybe ones that you made up yourself.
