2-600's or 1000 hps

Even still having 2 600watts is better than just 1 1000watt. You could use a 1:1 ratio MH to HPS and have your self set from veg to flower.

But in flower, these particular plants need primary red waves. Not just red waves being present, but....as a primary light source.

A 1:1 ratio is not optimal for flowering. I agreee you can mix them, but I also believe you need the red in a 2:1 ratio...to provide the dominant waves.
