Can anyone shed any light on why nearly every single page contains active X controls im not going to stop using the site just wanted to know..what purpose they serve

active x controls are little programs that monitor your activities on line amongst other things..

It's ok they aren't sticking spyware in, it's just the way the site knows who you are. Like when you get highlighted threads you haven't read yet, it knows what you've read and what you haven't.

Thanks Hvy it was just that every page threw up a notice from the firewall and i was'nt sure whether to permit or block

You've got a fussy firewall Just set it to permit all at this site. As long as you're using a spyware checker and updating your antivirus regularly you shouldn't have too many problems. Never hurts to check though, most people just wait for someone else to ask.

set it to permit and everythings ok speak to you all soon thanks bud...but the way started 2nd grow and their looking good 14 out off 20 have sprouted,,supposedly purple haze...at the mo..on 24hrs,,400wt hps feeding with tomato feed
