The best natural herb to give patients in pain?

How many answers can we give besides, "Yes, weed is the best for everything."? I can think of some, but they're not true. Well, I guess you wouldn't want to lube your bicycle with weed.

The best natural herb to give patients in pain?

I can't really say what's the best natural remedy for pain since, like everyone else on this board, I'm not a doctor. I can say that from my experience, marijuna that is a predominately indica strain is better for pain than a sativa strain. Occaisionally I will get very painful spasms in my back and I've found that agood indica will really help.

I see your in California like me so I assume you are pretty familiar with the medical marijuana movement and its use in relieveing pain. You might want to check out www.wamm.org for some additional info. They are one of the original med. mj advocacy groups based out of Santa Cruz.

Regarding opium poppies, since I'm not a doctor I can't say with any authority, but common sense would tell me they probably aren't the safest thing for pain. I have no doubt it would be effective for traeting pain but you did ask for the safest thing. First of all you'd have to extract the opium itself which is a pain(no pun intended) so it wouldn't be practical. Secondly, what you'd end up with is raw opium, the main ingredient in heroin, morphine, etc. Although not as potent as these it is certainly addictive and does have potential for overdose, etc.

You may also want to look into some traditional Chinese medicine as well. I've had acupunture to treat my back spasms and it has worked quite well. I'm sure they also have some herbal treatments for pain. I don't know where in California you are but you'd have no problem finding a traditional Chinese dcotor here in the San Francisco area.

IMO everyone is welcome here as long as they don't try and preach false truths.

I visited your website 1NatureOnly sounds good about that herb that can help with skin cancer. Have no idea why it is now illegal though.

THC was shown in lab tests with mice to attack cancerous tissue leaving other non infected tissue intact only attacking the cancerous tissue. It is illegal.

Now I hear that a herb that can help with skin cancer has now be made illegal for what reason I do not know.

I'm gonna google some info on this..

    The most intense pain recorded.

    http://www.usyd.edu.au/research/news...31_venom.shtml

He explained that if scientists could understand how platypus venom affects cells, they would be able to unlock some of the mysteries about the generation of pain and how membrane proteins are affected by toxins.

    There is also bee treatment.
