Papertowel Method question
Hey everyone. I just did the paper towel method like two days ago, and now I got a small, but thick (for it's size) root! My question is, how long do I leave it in the paper towel? And when I do take it out, do I plant it right a way? Thanks!

Papertowel Method question
overgrow.com says to plant it right after the taproot appears.if you leave it in there too long it might rot,but i always use just a cup of water in a coffee mug with a plate over it.check out overgrow it will help you out.

Problem with a coffee type cup is drainage. If you don't have drainage then you run a big risk of over watering the seedling and killing it. The top 1/2 of the soil is dry and the bottom 1/3 is wet and moldy and root rot can set in quickly. You also run a big risk of damping off as well or other problems.

Papertowel Method question
Personally I don't like the paper towel method, b/c you run a huge risk of damaging the seedling at that young of a stage. I would suggest fur bark plugs. They work great and can be used in hydro or soil they are organic and sterile. If you do decide to keep using the paper towel style then wet your hands b4 touching them, the oils are your fingers can clog the tiny somates on your leaves, at that young of a stage they wouldn't be able to recover.

Papertowel Method question
I like the paper towel method because I have had a 100% success rate with this method.I put it in a small air tight container with the top towel moist and the bottom towel wet and when i see the little white tap root come out wait till its about 4mm long then plant 1/4 inch down and the soil moist.
Peace Out
P.S (the white tap root normally comes out within 48 hours)
