the internet is home to a wealth of information, noone is saying you have to use it, if its shit dont use it, just because you subject yourself to all the shitty forums is not our fault.

Exactly. There's a wealth of information and access to very smart people just on this ONE board alone. We'd all be isolated if it weren't for forums such as this. The same can be said for other parts of the Internet like IRC, P2P, NNTP, SMTP, etc. Original poster probably doesn't even know what "The Internet" is.
