That's exactly what I was thinking as I read this. I've known a few people like this, you talk to them and they say, "yeah man, I get stoned all the time, I only smoke good shit..." Then when I roll a joint for them, full of top quality bud, no tobacco, the kind I smoke everyday, they recoil in horror and say how they can't smoke it, it's too strong, they're too stoned....
