So he came round, without any weed, and as he turns up i'm smoking a bong in my bedroom. I prefer to smoke joints most of the time, but when i'm broke or running out i'll smoke bongs. So I offer him one, but he says nah, he doesn't do bongs. Hmm, okay.

So I roll a joint, trying to be hospitable. Over here most people smoke hash, so most people use tobacco in their joints... but as I was smoking some really nice tasting bud I obviously didn't use any tobacco, because well, duh. I thought I was being a bit generous, you know? I didn't have much weed left, that's why I was using a bong, but because T prefers joints I rolled one. Most people over here woulda rolled a joint with tobacco to save their weed, too. So as I go to roll it he obviously sees that i'm not putting any tobacco in the joint, because he asks me if I am or not. I say no, i'm not, and he tells me politely that he doesn't smoke weed without tobacco. Hmm, well, okay.

Being as high as I was I still tried to be hospitable and began rolling the joint again, this time with tobacco. The only tobacco I had was a packet of Benson & Hedges, so I reluctantly go to use one of those. He's saying something at the time, but then when he sees that he stops talking and says "haven't you got any rolling tobacco?". I don't and I say so. He says, "oh okay, it's just I don't smoke weed with cigarette tobacco". Hmm, well, that's strange, but okay.

I ask if he has any rolling tobacco then, and he says no, so I shrug. What am I supposed to do about it? I ask him this, and he's like "I dunno", as if it's my problem that he refuses to smoke weed with anything but Golden Virginia rolling tobacco (yeah, he even said he he only smokes one particular brand of rolling tobacco!). I was stumped as to what to do. I asked if he was sure he wouldn't just smoke it pure, or have a bong, or anything, but he just said no.

So, I shrugged, repacked my bong, and got high by myself. Weird guy, huh?
