They're all in a band together, and I got to know them through my bro, the singer of our band, because he sang with them for a while. Anyway, they all seemed pretty cool... Two of them smoke (i'll call them G and T), and I got to be friends with them more than the others, the way stoners have a habit of doing. Occasionally i'd meet them for a jam (they're both musicians) and we'd smoke and chill out, too. We all supplied the weed, so everything was Rating: 5

I don't understand why alot of people try and appear to act in a certain way in front of certain people.

Low self esteem will cause people to brag and exaggerate their power, influence, stature, or reputation in order to impress you. Sometimes it is really obvious, sometimes it is an outright lie, but sometimes, when they do it just right, it works. I think everyone does it to some extent, however when they brag about something that clearly isn't true that tends to have the opposite effect on audience and make them look like assholes. I feel kind of sorry because they can't tell the truth and impress you so they tell a lie and distance you.

When someone invites you over for a hoot, and you come over, then be picky about it, then I think that is very oddish, and rude too mind you. He should have just smoked the damn weed for fuck sakes. That's exactly what I was thinking as I read this. I've known a few people like this, you talk to them and they say, "yeah man, I get stoned all the time, I only smoke good shit..." Then when I roll a joint for them, full of top quality bud, no tobacco, the kind I smoke everyday, they recoil in horror and say how they can't smoke it, it's too strong, they're too stoned....
