If you want to cut back in an easier way, smoke it in a bowl and just smoke a little to get high. Preferably, a one-hitter. If you roll a joint, and then break it up, and then pack a one-hitter, smoke it, clean the bowl so it's cleared of resin (a hot mini-screwdriver will help), scrape the resin on your empty cigarette packs, pack another, smoke another, and then put it down and go see how high you are. That way, you'll be high with most of your joint left. There's no reason to spark a joint for a few hits.

Plus, the more you care about breaking up your herb and cleaning your bowl, the less time you'll have to smoke weed.
