Gentlemen, you are all British. Please. I met a genius in the Estates, they have the good the bad and the ugly just like the rest I am afriad. And the snooty London lifestylers, I often wondered if the class system WAS made illegal or not. And the government does make this mess, it is a pity. I almost agree with the chap; better Brit than American, but I make a distinction that he meant United States subject and does not understand what an American is. I have only begun the study of English history, and it is a major undertaking. But knowing that the government encourages seperation through geographical sport and language should give you rise to suspect they want you all to battle each other rather than see what they are doing to you.

I am amazed at the internal economy in the estates, kids being used as runners and fronts for the wine and tobacco. Without which existance would be more horrible. There were some that helped the children with the slag mothers and used their minds to better their fellow "slaves." Others were like leaches, preying on those weak. All happening near the silver and hallowed halls of a much different England one sees in the center of cities. Like a forgotten breed. I would always trust them to cover my back, when you are a friend, it is saying a lot. Anyway, I love England too, even if I am American. I love the good, the bad and the ugly. It is what makes England.
