Neem powder! Answer to our prayers?

Went to the garden center yesterday and they had neem powder. They said just mix it in with your soil and that's that, no more bugs. No need to mix with soap or anything, just mix it as is into your soil (no go for hydro guys unfortunatlly). I bought a couple bags and read online that with a soil mix containing 3-6% neem powder that plant should be mite free.
It seems too good to be true..... but I made my soil (at 6% neem powder mix) and put in my clones just now. My clones are WW, Blueberry, and The Pure. All excelent strains but all get decimated by mites.
So has anyone had success/failures with using neem powder? Any stories? What percent mix worked/didn't work for you? Thanks and sorry if this has already been discussed somewhere, I couldn't find much info on neem powder.

Any info on neem powder anyone? I would really love to hear if it has worked succesfully for anyone. If no one has any experience using it maybe I'll start a little journal about the effectiveness of neem powder mix soil and post it online. I'm hoping someone else has tried it before though. Anyone?

Neem powder/oil comes from the seed of the neem tree, it is a natural funicide and pesticide 100% organic, be careful to belive that by mixing this in your soil it will cure all problems neem isn't toxic to bugs it the oil itself works by coating bugs and not letting molt, slowing them down from eating and killing them. The powder however in your soil will only work on bugs that live in your soil it will not kill bugs that munch on your leaves. In your case with spider mites that can breed and lay eggs directly on the leave surface, if you do run into a problem try a pyrithrin or neem spray.

spidermites can never ever ever be underestimated, consider drastic actions.... like

bomb, einstein oil, drop temperature to 60-65 degrees and co2 saturation....

in warm weather, an infestation is nearly unstoppable...

you can win the battles (and can save your crop) but you won't win the war...

at 52 degrees, spidermites stop breeding.... but they go dormant and can stay dormant for a long long long time... all f-ing winter...

in the wild mites stop attacking when daylight drops below 12-13 hours... good for outdoor growers.... unfortunatley this is not true for indoor

The entire life cycle, from egg to adult, takes around 6 weeks at 15°C or 59 faren, but can take only 3 weeks at 23°C or 86 faren! adults feed for 2 weeks before they breed..
