The Dead are my all time favorite. I've got close to 200 of their concerts on CD and like to listen to the pre-1970 shows when I'm really baked. Other than those I really like to listed to these when I'm high:
Jerry Garcia & Merl Saunders-Live at Keystone Berkeley (Like the Dead with a lot of Jazz thrown in)
Pink Floyd-Saucerful of Secrets (late '60's Floyd, really psychedelic)
Beatles-Abbey Road
Dave Brubeck-Time Out (classic Jazz)
Steely Dan-Aja
Billie Holiday- Jazz Round Midnight (kick back and imagine you're back in the '40's in some smokey jazz club)
