Uhm, page up and see that I have two posts numbered 667 (the neighbor of the beast)
\"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will, within limits drawn by the equal rights of others. I do not add \"within the limits of the law\', because law if often but the tyrant\'s will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.\"-Thomas Jefferson.

You fools! It wasn't Osama. It was the Japanese using Russian weather modification technology!

U.S. Meteorologist Says Russian Inventors Caused Hurricane Katrina
A meteorologist in Pocatello, Idaho, claims Japanese gangsters known as the Yakuza used KGB inventions to cause Hurricane Katrina, Wireless Flash reported Thursday.
Scott Stevens says after looking at NASA satellite photos of the hurricane, he??s is convinced it was caused by electromagnetic generators from ground-based microwave transmitters.
??There is absolutely zero chance that this is natural, zero,? Villagevoice quoted Stevens as saying after Katrina??s landfall, pointing out suspiciously rectilinear shapes in the satellite-photoed hurricane clouds
The generators emit a soundwave between three and 30 megahertz and Stevens claims the Russians invented the storm-creating technology back in 1976 and sold it to others in the late 1980s.
Stevens says the clouds formed by the generators are different from normal clouds and are able to appear out of nowhere and says Katrina had many rotation points that are unusual for hurricanes.
At least 10 nations and organizations possess the technology, but Stevens suspects the Japanese Yakuza created Katrina in order to make a fortune in the futures market and to get even with the U.S. for the 1945 bombing of Hiroshima.

Whew!
thank God that the amount of, and intensity of, said storms is not aggravated by global warming, that would mean people would have to feel a little guilty about driving everywhere they go.
Can't have that, got to drive an drive to support all those texas millionaires, bush had nothing to do with gas going from $17.00 a barrel to over $60.00 sure glad he isn't in it for the money, really glad he suspended all those nasty E.P.A. regulations, they were sure getting in the way of a good profit margin.
Poor coastal folks, after working so hard to get rid of all the scummy bayou's, terrible wet lands, and riparian areas that protected the coast for millennia to have to put up with leaving their homes of maybe a hundred, maybe they should have planted a tree before they went, have something to come back to.
I don't think however, that those who have watched and looked will be convinced that this is a truly natural disaster, i think mans hand may be all up in it.

I agree, the general trend towards more and stronger hurricanes is probably being fueled by global warming. Not to say any particular disaster is anybody's fault, since disasters are bound to happen anyways, but all our pollution is only aggravating things. It's quite a pity that the leaders of our society value money so much more than the planet, to the point where they will deny that there is a clear danger to the planet just to fatten their pocketbooks and further their agendas.

Global warming caused this? Here's another theory:
This confluence of optimal ocean and atmosphere conditions has been known to produce increased tropical storm activity in multi-decadal (approximately 20-30 year) cycles. Because of this, NOAA expects a continuation of above-normal seasons for another decade or perhaps longer. NOAA's research shows that this reoccurring cycle is the dominant climate factor that controls Atlantic hurricane activity. Any potentially weak signal associated with longer-term climate change appears to be a minor factor.
The multi-decadal signal that has contributed to increased Atlantic activity since 1995 has also produced a marked decrease in hurricanes in the eastern Pacific hurricane region. Similar conditions also produced very active Atlantic hurricane seasons during the 1950s and 1960s. In contrast, the opposite phase of this signal during 1970-1994 resulted in only three above-normal Atlantic hurricane seasons in the entire 25-year period.
