ive had like violet bud...that was the onyl real purple haze i ever had...
ive gotten chronic before that had dark purple on it and its mold or undernourshiment or whatever its considered...but it doesnt mean its haze

There's lots of different purple strains out there. I was reading about them in the cannabible the other day. Some are just purple, like Purple Star or Purple haze. Other times though, purple coloration is caused by the buds getting too cold or even getting frosted. The problem with anything puple is that if its a true purple strain it should be pretty good. But if its just purple because its been frosted it will actually lose potency. Apparently some growers, whose buds have been frosted, will take what really is a shitty crop and pass it off as great cause its purple.

There are hundreds of different types of, 'purple' colored MJ. Figuring out which one is yours will be a difficult task as it could be either the genetic that makes it purple, or the cooler temps, which could be thousands of different kinds.

I grew some MJ outside a few years ago as I ran out of space in my GR. I planted them on a hill and they were green at the time. I never fed them or nothing, just left them on the hill. I went back like 3 months later, and they were a deep colored purple from the cool temps we had that year.

Anyways, I remeber that because it was potent as fuck too. Peace
