I was discussing this storm with a friend today We started talking about what if it gets really big and hits the New Orleans area again instead of Texas. Her opinion is that it would be better to hit New Orleans again because they are already destroyed instead of destroying a new area. As much as I'd hate to see more suffering there it does make some sense. What do you think??

That's a real tough question. I agree that it'd be a shame to see more suffering in that area. But yeah, it would do alot less damage (to both people and property) if it hit the same area, as alot of damage has already been done (and not repaired yet), and the majority of the place is still uninhabited, as far as i'm aware. If it hit Texas it would just kill alot more people, do alot more damage and put alot more people on the street. Let's hope it doesn't hit Texas.
It does kinda feel bad saying I hope it doesn't hit Texas and hits New Orleans again.. but I hope you guys understand what I mean.

I think it's going to intensify to a cat. 5 hurricane, and it will hit Galveston head on. It will cause minor flooding in Houston, but Galveston will get smacked pretty hard.
Don't overlook Hurricane Phillipe either, he's still churning hard.

I agree. I think it would be better if it hit New Orleans again. That way it will destroy all the shit that was looted by everybody. It makes me sick to see those people floating big screen t.v.'s down the street in makeshift rafts when they know damn well that they have no place to put it. Absolutely pathetic!! Also, I hope it blows that dumb ass Mayor to the other side of the rainbow.
