K.. basically. The bigger bowl that you have, the more weed you will use, because you'll underestimated it (sort of a "well, I only smoked a bowl, I guess I can smoke more" mentality). The bigger the hole, the more smoke you will suck in, which will make it more harsh on the lungs. I'd recommend a smaller hole, for this reason. The presence of a screen won't really change the amount of weed consumed. The harder you pack, the more weed that you will use. You don't want to pack too hard, because it'll be hard to hit, but you don't want to pack too lightly either, because it'll burn too fast.

Basically, just glass spoon is your best bet.

I'd recommend trying to find a pretty small pipe with a bigass bowl if you'd have to worry about hiding it, and a larger pipe with a longer stem if you're not worried about hiding it. I hope that answered your questions, let me know if you have anymore.
