Questions about growing in my closet...

I'm thinking about growing in my closet, i already have seeds, something to grow in, florecent lights, fans.
    here is my plan:
    1. make a venting system with fans and carbon filters (maybe a hood for this? If i do should I filter incoming air w/carbon filter too)
    2. is 6"x6"x15" enough room to grow somthing decent?
    3. I was thinking of a irrigation system with tubes under the soil (drip irrigation?) is this a good idea? any rules of thumb on approx. flow?
    4. An estimate on how long the average (probably lower grade stuff) will take and an average yeild, I won't hold you too it.
I think thats all for now, i pretty much understand everything else i need to know for now. Futher detail of my (theoretically) setup is anyone has any advice.

    1. NO you do not need to filter incoming air. I place a filter cover just to keep the dog hairs out of the flowers. Just a screen thingy, but no need for odor control on incoming air.

    2. 6"x 6"....as in inches????? Are you serious? Or did you mean feet? If you meant inches, you can forget about your plans entirely.

Questions about growing in my closet...

well what would you say is the minimum Length X Width i could go?
i figured that may be too small, max height clearnence is 15" from the lip of the tray i plan to use to bottom of the light. my max width is 12" (this is from back wall to edge of shelf there is an extra 12" beyond the shelf to the closet door)and the other dimension is negotiable up to 74". So in sumation my full space is 74"X12"(24" if from wall to door)X15". any advice with these dimensions would be much appreciuated

(Alternate plan could use closet floor)

Questions about growing in my closet...

oh as a quick note: i'm not really looking to grow anything high grade or even midquality, i'm really just looking for something to smoke and a project, if I can support my 1/4oz-3/8oz a week (schwag) habit, then fine if not atleast I tried. Any advice on techniques I should look into? Is it possible to grow pot like a bansai tree?

If your going to spend time and some money on it, why not just do it right and grow some good shit.

Or I guess this would be a good starter grow.

    Eitherr way, good luck.

I would definitley use a screen like Hardon said regarding incoming air.. I would also put down one of those sticky yellow things to catch bugs... this way you can also see what kind of bugs you may have to deal with..... you should actually have a few of those up and around.. and look at them closely, check out your competition.

    and now you KNOW
