Being an High school football (american by the way lol), and basketball player i think it sux how i gotta be so damn careful with my weed...i mean i'm like one of the "good" players, and if i get caught i'm totally fucked for fball and bball...that aint gonna stop me from smoking up on the weekends though...Anybody else have to deal with this situation...IT SUX.

Nope, I only play tennis, i've smoked before practice, and smoked with several of my teammates..even bought my first bowl from one. Coach has no idea. Oh well, tennis is more laid back than football. Heh. I'm pretty sure like 3/4 of the team smokes and drinks though. They seem to mostly get away with it, just be careful.

i play hockey, ski, play rugby and go some canoeing in the summer, and i smoke a few times a week. none of its seriously competitive, except skiing, but it doesnt really affect my smoking.

When I was in High School, I swam on the team, made state all four years, and smoked a lot. Just don't let it interrupt your performance.. or are you worried about being tested?

If you're good enough, getting caught a few times doesn't matter. I got caught selling my buddy a sack in the back of math class and neither of us got in trouble for football (we were out of season though). Got suspended from school, which was actually pretty fun. None of this stopped me from smoking pretty much every day through senior year.

If your school is real strict about that shit, look into rugby. It'll be a club sport so school can't fuck your playing time for anything. Plus its (in my opinion) a shitload more fun than football.

Good to hear afew of you's are into rugby over there, back in my school days our team would allways blaze up after the game and before even had afew bowls at halftime if we had a home game, and i agree with you there mvolta rugby is a shitload more fun than yank football, dunno about over there but here the hits are just as hard as in yank football but without all the padding/helmets so you kinda need the pot to help with the pain after a game

I play highschool football too. I still get high in school but i just make sure i cant get caught, eyedrops stuff like that. I dont see what the big deal is, if you play good who the fuck cares what you do on your own time.

If drug-testing is part of the school policy then you can't. Don't worry about getting caught, just keep a low-profile and never carry weed around.
