i can't even think of words to describe what i feel right now. i live near the gulf on the edge of texas (if you really wanna know how close i am look up Baytown on a geological map....i can drive less than 45 minutes and be AT the gulf). bush and his war are his only concern, he isn't even focusing on what really matters, america. we've had what? one terrorist bombing in america and we were fighting in that area long before the attacks even 'hit home' so to speak. i think bush really needs to pull his head out of his ass and focus on what really matters. he took money from people who needed it (medicaid and such) to fund his stupid war. and i never knew before now that the government was aware that such a risk was present. my town is at or below sea level and there's another hurricane headed DIRECTLY FOR THIS CITY!, according to the projections on the weather forecasts of all our local news that hurricane is headed straight for this place. and i can bet you we have no defense against it what so ever.... out of all the money he's spent on this war so far, i know that he could of atleast dedicated some to fortify new orleans, there fore maybe, JUST MAYBE lessing the devestation. now he's using religion (along with like every other christian in this country and this board) to blind people from what is really happening. and as an off subject what happened to seperation of religion and our country? seems to me this whole country is now based on christianity, there is no sepereation and there is no freedom anymore. if your christian in the court system you can get away with alot more (or a lesser punishment) then if you denounce that there ever was a christ or a god. anywhere you go you are looked down upon for not beliving. i really hate bush and think he's quite possibly the worst president ever, in everything he says to the public the word 'god' is mentioned more than 10 times. every presidential address, every statement to the press.... he needs to keep his religion to himself and look at statistics and PROOF. if cheney wasn't wiping his ass and holding his hand through every last thing this country probably would've already gone to complete and utter hell. and doesn't bush or some closely related people to him have stock in the oil companies or something? i seem to remember hearing that and thinking 'yea he really cares if prices go up, then he can sheild the public's eyes from what real production is and not drop prices much, therefore raking in more profit'. sorry i strayed from topic just the statements having to do anything with god and him and the fact he ignored stuff, then trys to declare them acts of god really get me pissed. what needs to be elected into presidency is a gay, potheaded non god believing woman, then matters would actually see logical thinking, as oposed to 'this is in god's hands nothing we can do lets put millions more into fighting some war' i woudln't be suprised bush provoked the entire war, and the only reason they have any problem with us whatsoever is becasue he attacked them first and they feel indanger.
