Fourteen days of sobriety

Just a few weeks ago I had nearly an ounce of some dank hydro, but my greediness got the best of me and I smoked it way too fast. Now I'm dry and have no money. Plus, I don't have any friends at all here in Buffalo (which sucks enough as it is...), so getting somebody to smoke me up is not an option. It won't be until October 3 that I will be able to get my hands on another sack. This means that today is the first of fourteen consecutive days of complete sobriety for me.

This will be the longest I have ever gone without weed since my second time trying it, beating my previous record by three days. This is going to suck big time.

So, is anybody else in the middle of a dry spell? It might make me feel better to know I'm not alone in the painfully boring grip of constant sobriety.

Good luck buddy, I know how that goes. I'm presently on a fast from the green herb because don't want to fuck this school year up like I did the last. Well, that and because I'm a poor college guy who'd rather put his money towards beer and wait for the occasional random smoke-up than blow $25 at a time on a half-eighth that I'll smoke in a day. Smoking just doesn't make economical sense to me right now. Hope your fast goes well!

I haven't smoked in about a week, but I don't really care. I usually take a week or two off between sacks.

Find something to do that takes up time besides smoking weed. You will realize that life has more things to offer than just weed (life is INFINITE, you are free to do anything you choose).

Think of your life as a dream, play your role as a detached observer, and you will realize how surreal this life really is.... its just one long trip!


We drive cars, we go to outer space, we communicate with the internet, we do so much crazy shit all the time and we take it for granted by taking ourselves way too seriously, so seriously that we find our entire existence a waste our time! You call sobriety "boring", but in my opinion, any state of conciousness is completely, utterly fucking amazing! THE FACT THAT YOU ARE ANYTHING AT ALL SHOULD BOGGLE YOUR MIND AT ALL TIMES>>> YOU DO NOT NEED WEED TO GET HIGH YOU ARE HIGH ON LIFE LITERALLY ALL THE TIME


But yeah good luck on the 14 days, back when I had only been smokin a couple years I hated taking even a day or two off. It'll get easier as time goes by

I'll have plenty to do (too much in fact...it's going to be a stressfull two weeks). I suppose it's not really sobriety that's boring. It's just my life sober. College is tough, especially when you don't have any friends and the only people who care about you live hundreds of miles away.

Actually i just got a new relient dealer, really kicks ass lol i went on the boat this weekend drank a lil bit and got stoned, and im stoned and i still feel like im rocking back and forth, damn boat, oh ummm right im suppose to be doing homework....war and peace quotes...hmm lol

Same here...it sucks...the funny thing is I try to remember how I used to spend my time before I started smokin weed...and all i can remember is spending hours and hours in the arcades room...which REALLY is no option for me now...so I spend my dry days here on the board readin about other guys gettin high...it's the closest I can get to the real thing...I also read a lot...I occasionaly work some,too...just enough as to not get my ass fired...I think I'm gonna visit my dad this weekend though cuz this situation really can't go on anymore...

I'm dry but have been smoked out a couple of times (which I will obviously be repaying when I pick up), luckily I just started college so I shouldn't have any trouble finding weed there.
