I started smoking when I was 12 or 13, not sure exactly. I just remember it was the 8th grade. I'm 35 now. All that shit about memory loss and brain damage is exactly that-SHIT.

I would have been the perfect anti-weed poster child in high school. I was stoned almost every day in school and barely graduated. A couple years after graduating high school, however, I decided to go back to school. I end up getting bachelor's degrees in both International Business and Eastern Studies, graduating with honors. Along the way I also managed to learn to speak/read/write Chinese fluently. All while being a regular,at least once a day, smoker. (I also did a lot of acid and lots and lots of shrooms but that's a different story)

Bottom line is that weed really doesn't do anything negative to your brain. As long as you are responsible and can set your priorities there's no argument against using it. If you are naturally a slacker it probably won't help matters much. Even if you don't use it you'll probably still be a slacker though so...
