If you are going to smoke do so responsibly. If you feel it's out of hand then it probably is. The only real truth about Marijuana is that it is smoke and like any smoke it can damage your lungs, as far as long time use and brain damage go, I think it's a crock of crap. I will agree with the short term memory loss though. But then again as everyone knows even with out weed your short term memory starts to go after puberty. IF YOU ARE GOING TO SMOKE POT, KNOW ALL THE FACTS! BE INFORMED AND TRUST IN YOUR OWN BODY. As a mother I would feel safer knowing my child was smoking pot than if he was drinking. Not that I would make that choice for him. I personally feel like you guys should wait until your a little older, but I am no hypocrite and know that you only live once.

amydan, i really appreciate you aknowledging some of the bad shit about smoking bud, and even though i am young, i have smoked to the point where i realize that marijuana can have a mental addiction if abused, you just have to make sure that smoking doesnt get in the way of your responsibilitys in life. If u NEED to smoke you better check yourself, instead be able to turn down a toke if you dont feel like it or you have stuff to do. I will never stop smoking weed, bud i know that i cant toke before i have to work or clean because when i get stoned i loose motivation. So, from experiance i have figured out that there is a time and place for everything, smokin herb is the best thing in the world but dont let it take over your life. Instead use it as a reward for after you do the things you need to finish in your day. Thats just what i think, but im pretty lit up right now and could be talkin out my ass. lol
