I just read an article that said cannabis may be sold in drugstores in canada in 2006.

Good start for legalization. Anybody heard about this? It would be the only place (with amsterdam), to adopt this idea.

i dont see why other towns in europe dont pick up on the cannabis act, i mean if they are loosing tourists, start with the drugs!! thats what i say

The thing right now is, they've got their minds on other stuff to think about than improving society. Like saving society. If people backed off, great minds can get things done. Impulsiveness tears up our society, whether it's short or long term. Brainwashing is the simplest thing to accomplish, yet people take great rewards doing it.

Then again, if we just backed off, our leaders might take advantage of it and enforce a lockdown because they're scared shitless. "What??? Everybody's smoking their own stash in their houseclothes???" Ok, maybe not, but if we stopped playing wargames we can start playing the figure-out-pot's-not-bad game.

I got that out of a book five years ago, at least, while I was at the Public Library. I still owe the fine for bringing that, and two other books, back a day late. It was a book on Legal Drugs, why I found that fact in there, I have no idea. It was Italian Researchers who made the discovery, in 1986 (I believe), and one group smoked cigarettes, the other joints. They also found that caffeine, alcohol, tobacco, and hard drugs decrease melatonin levels.

And that fact about 4,000%, is two hours after smoking a joint.
