restart computer with Windows XP CD in drive. before boot screen flashes, tap DELETE numerous times to enter your BIOS settings.

Change BIOS settings to "boot from CD"
SAVE these BIOS settings.

(when you are done installing WINXP,...re-enter BIOS and change settings to boot from HDD-0) (save this BIOS setting)
