Well here in Greece you'd find the way things work frustrating and humorous...1st of all you can get jail time for possesion(20 days which you are forced to buy off at a cost of 3 Euros per day...they won't even let you serve ...) and a nice big DRUGS USER note on your criminal record...which will refrain you from ever working as a civil servant ANYWHERE in the damn country...and considering that currently the State is the biggest employer in Greece that kinda sux ass...
But for all that to happen you gotta get to court 1st right...there are numerous ways you can skip that...
1st of all by statistics Greece has the largest percentage of pot smokers per population...which means that there's a real good chance that if you are busted on a random street search, the cops that bust you are smokin it,too...in that case they just seize the stuff for themselves and let you go...it has happened more than once...not to me though....
2nd of all everyone here is kinda slow...and the cops are exceptionally slow dumb-ass muthafuckas...which means that you might actually get away with it without them even finding anything...if you got it well stashed...
3rd and most practical...load it all on your girlfriend!!! There rarely are women cops in cop patrols and men cops are not allowed to carry out a FULL search on a lady...that means that they'll have to ask HQ to send a female officer to carry out the duty...being slackers they won't ever do that...
4th...be a girl...you can have buds comin out of your pockets and get away with it just by flashing your boobs or givin the cop a meaningful smile...

You might have heard of the above as an urban legend...In Greece it's how it works though!!!
