Haha, poor you, man!

Nah, what I mean is our whole society is crap. It's that simple, we all know it. I seriously don't believe, if there's a point or purpose to existence, that it's to work all day and buy stuff, you know? That's all people seem to do.. work and buy stuff. There's stuff in between but nothing really fulfilling, be it mentally or spiritually. I think that's why alot of people dream about weird things, because alot of the time our imaginations are on hold as we shuffle through cities like drones. So when we sleep our imaginations are let lose, so to speak.

I know exactly what you mean, Az.

I think everyone's had that kind of dreams before; one where something in it makes you happy and then you wake up disapointed. I think when it comes down to it, humans have these kinds of dreams because the template for life that we live by isn't fulfilling enough. I mean, there are so many people who never bother learning anything or doing anything other than working and getting smashed. We get stressed out because of bills and money and our dreams are our subconscious way os escaping, or maybe it's way of telling us what life should really be like? Not all dreams, of course, but you know what I mean.

Damn dude...those kind of dreams fucking suck!

yeah i do see what you mean....like people being trapped during their day of being awake, not really expressing themselves and as you said acting like drones....

whereas when they sleep they are free to do whatever they want...their imaginations run wild and some other stuff happens

and im pretty sure if there was/is a purpose to life making money would not be a main goal...

GHoST, this has nothing to do with your topic, but I seem to be amusing myself figuring where your quotes come from, and these are from 2 of my favorite movies, Reservoir Dogs and Fight Club... "Like a Virgin is a metaphor for guys with big dicks."

As for your dream, the dreams that look and feel real are the worst. You're never really sure they happened, at least until about 1 or 2 hours after you've woken up. I get those dreams always around my final exams, and I always get dreams that I m essed up my exam, got there an hour late, etc.etc. They always feel so real that I wake up on the verge of tears....

Haha, yeah man, they're from Reservoir dogs and fight Club, two of my favourite movies too! I love the fight club quote! At the beginning of the movie Tyler asks Jack "Any last words?" and he replies "I can't think of anything". When you see the same scene again later on in the movie Tyler asks the same question and Jack replies "I still can't think of anything", to which Tyler says "Ah, flashback humour". I thought that was fucking awesome.. lol...

And yeah, you're right, they are the worst kind of dream. I never really have that kind of dream though, and what made it worse was when I woke up I thought I could actually feel the injuries I sustained in the dream.

I have often had dreams that felt that real, sometimes I have wondered if my dreams are reality and when I am awake I am really dreaming. Spooky eh?
