    Concerned.

I'm 15 years old and I started smoking weed when I was 14 in 2004. anyways, since then I've smoked it about once every three weeks or something. Recently, i found out that my grandad had schizophrenia (however u spell it). I dont think it was very bad. but i know he took pills to control it.

What should i do? Carry on smoking at the rate i do? This is anoying me cos I LOVE getting stoned.

The best thing you could do is leave it alone until your brain develops more fully, around the age of eighteen, why take chances.

Most mental illnesses start to show themselves in your teens to early twenties. If you only smoke one every few weeks, I don't think smoking will mask any symptoms you may start to develop. It's when you start to feel all whacked out and out of control when you're not stoned that you have to worry about.

Schizophrenia is a good thing, King Matt O'Five.

Think of when you're happy and associate both, or all of the personalities with it, and then, one day you can have a meeting, and only invite one "real" person. They'll think you should be on stage.

I totally agree... I don't think you should be smoking till you're 18... that's the age I started smoking... No wait, it was 17. Anyways, I've always thought that in the future, when I have my sons/daughters (neither are here nor in the plans), I'll let them smoke when they're 18.... I've read that the human brain gets oxygen flow decreased when you use Cannabis. Because you're 15, your brain is in a growing frenzy... I think you should lay off weed until you're 18.

If anything at all, smoke like once a week... and don't get trashed.

    Best to you,,

Hmm, I'm 15, and I smoke almost every day. And when I say smoke, I mean like a blunt a few joints some bowls from a bong, and then the occasional bowl from my friend's pipe.

Damn... I hope no one in my family has schizophrenia.
