Bush Pledges Federal Role in Rebuilding Gulf Coast
"The work that has begun in the Gulf Coast region will be one of the largest reconstruction efforts the world has ever seen," Mr. Bush said in remarks delivered in Jackson Square against the brightly lighted backdrop of St. Louis Cathedral, a symbol of the heart and soul of New Orleans for almost three centuries.

and no large 9/11(joke) style investigation to go in a screw things up.
i cant imagine how it would be to lose everything like that,,,i would want to heat that they are gonna rebuild my city,,,and address the issues that created the problems.
one of the things that makes new orleans wierd,or gives it that sense of mystique is how corrupt that state has been throughout history.a worthy battle i say.

while you guys are busy sucking w's dick, maybe you could ask yourselves just how many louisiana companies are getting contracts to aid in the cleanup efforts...
not many at all...more like one or two...all the big money contracts are being outsourced to other companies...so much for helping rebuild the economy...
looks like bush already has his plan in place for his big rich buddies to cash in after a disaster.

Yay! 1,000 dead, but who cares? We created jobs! Let's suck each others' dicks now.
Yeah, largest reconstruction world has ever seen... In 146 B.C., Rome completely destroys Carthage and Corinth, yet 200 years later they are major commercial centers. In 1346, the Black Plague wipes out half (yes HALF) of Europes population, yet a few years later the age of exploration begins and Europe becomes the superpower of the world. 1918, WW1, northern France, Belgium lie in ruins. WW2, Germany and Japan are literally wiped off the face of the Earth, now look where the biggest international companies are based.
Now, let's rebuild New Orleans and other towns around the Gulf coast and it's the biggest reconstruction project the world has ever seen.
