About the lights. SeedKing could not be more right-on the money, so long as the extra $150 for HPS is not problem for you.

I'm still learning but read that lots of people go from seed to bud using Compact Florescent Lights (CFL's). At $10s a pop plus bulb socket cost you can start with a couple and add on as plant gets taller.

Somebody might say your pair of what are they - 4 footers?? - is okay for now. Not sure on that, but they might.
