I truly and deeply enjoy the fine intricacies of the taste and smell of some good smoked bud. The feel on my tongue, the taste on inhale, the different taste and smell on exhale. I enjoy the experience of a joint to the fullest even before the physical effects. I would have a hard time replacing smoking completely.
But, since most of my usage is med these days I would appreciate a pill I could drop when having a smoke is not convenient or pleasant, if it was not like marinol. If it contained the same active ingredients as med bud and influenced the body in the same way I would use it for sure.
When I use for pain management I dont feel the same euphoria anyway. It curbs or dulls my symptoms without making me all high. Well, unless I chase it with another one or two hehe.
In contrast high grade med bud smoked for recreation knocks me on my ass.

They do have pills for it that fuck you up. They also have synthetic THC pills they give to chemo patients. The synthetic version makes you sluggish and kills nausea without giving you a high though.
