Well I gave up on my mom. She said that I could give all the facts people think they know, but people used to praise cigarettes and then they turned out to kill people.

She thinks that if I keep smoking weed, I will never be able to go to university, get a job, live a life. She thinks that smoking weed is what makes people get bored with life, do nothing, and start living on the streets. Its so fucking funny, she even thinks that my siblings have never smoked weed. All my siblings have tried it, two of them went to university and have kickass lives, one of them is a single mother without a job. They've all given the biggest hints about smoking weed to her, and she still doesn't believe it. She still thinks i'm the first one and I'm her big failiure.

Ultimately, she has no capacity to do any research, no trust or respect to me or the researchers that have studied the effects of weed, and no faith in me. She convinced me that her views will never change.

I never really liked her, but that just set me off. Fuck it all man, my life has never been better since i started weed, I'm gonna show her my best fucking grades ever, I'm gonna show her how i participate in more clubs than before, and I'm gonna hopefully fucking get some sense into her.

He had justifiable concerns like depression, school work, bad habits etc, and I explained to him that my life was fine. He seems pretty OK with it, which he should be, since his two brothers both use it medicinally. My problem is that he told my mom, and she is on her way home, and she is "freaking out". How do I calm her down and bring her to my side without coming off as an arrogant asshole? Rating: 5
