Unfortunately for me, my dad isn't a retard, and figured out I smoke. He had justifiable concerns like depression, school work, bad habits etc, and I explained to him that my life was fine. He seems pretty OK with it, which he should be, since his two brothers both use it medicinally.

My problem is that he told my mom, and she is on her way home, and she is "freaking out". How do I calm her down and bring her to my side without coming off as an arrogant asshole?
