Hiya Mand, Your plants really don't look that sickly to me, but you are able to see the changes that may not be apparant to everyone looking at the pics. The patience one must aquire to let ones grow flourish at it's best under any set of given enviromental situations or methods sometimes escapes me, myself. I find myself sometimes over reacting to noticeable but really insignificant changes in my plants and on the flip side I have found myself overly tending to my plants in ways that (if they don't have any problems)leave the plants in a state of recovery from my over zealous attempts to care for them. Sometimes, the bottom line being, I am better off stepping back and letting them do their thing. Now I realize your are an experienced grower with many more grows behind you than many of us, certainly more grows indoors than me but the concept of patience does escape us all at times and maybe , just maybe now the transition from veg to flowering on this grow may be just a little more difficult than your used to, after all isn't this one of your first grows indoors that you have changed your lighting from MH to HPS for flowering?? Maybe they aren't really doing as poorly as you think?? I noticed on my last grow that the slower sicklier plants at first when put into flowering towards the end were actually the best of the bunch.

On the subject of the MH and HPS lights, and since you seem to be narrowing the possibilities down to the lights being a factor, could it possibly be a heat factor?? If I am not mistaken a 400 watt HPS bulb puts out more heat than a 400 watt MH doesn't it? Perhaps the difference in tempature from the bulbs was just enough to have effected the plants?? Since the light you have is a switchable ballast and all you had to do was change the bulbs it would be real easy to change them and not the distance of the lights from the plants when you switched the bulbs for flowering with your HPS. Perhaps the light with the Hps bulb was too close??? I don't know but Just a little food for thought, like I said they look pretty good to me.

Fireworks? Bonfires? what was the occasion, Holloween? or do you have Halloween in the UK? LOL I usually relate fireworks to the fourth of july (independence day)lol! Of course getting Blazed till the wee hours I can relate to just about any of the 365 days of the year. No..... not all 365 days but any one of the 365(or probably for me more like the majority of the 365 days)as certainly, I am proned to be wasted more than just one day a year...lol

Well I better stop here before I take another toke of the bong and turn this into a chapter

peace Darlin,
