Hey Mand. You might want to look in to a small, wall mounted propane heater with a built in thermostat. I use one for the coldframe I keep my bonsai's in over the winter. I normally keep it around 35 degrees farenheit to keep the trees dormant, but not freezing, and it can get that area (7x7x12 ft) up to 60 or 70 on the coldest winter days if I need it to. It has a 10,000 btu output and will keep your room at pretty much any temp you want. It's safe for indoor use (as in, no CO problems) and a 20 or 30lb tank would probably last you a long time. It's made by a company called Procomm and I got it at a local shop called Northern Tool and Equipment. You can check out their website for info and see if there's a local dist in your area or a UK equivalent. Will also keep your lovely tush nice and toasty when you're out there doing your chores. And it only cost about $139.00, plus the cost of the tank which was about another $45 for the 30lb. The only downside I can think of is that it might actually raise the humidity in there since water vapor is a byproduct of using propane. Good in my case since we normally have very dry winters here.
