Die in Stephen King's next book.

If you have a spare $20,000 or so then here's your chance to be a character in Stephen King's upcoming horror novel, 'Cell', and perhaps even be murdered in it (a dying character must be female, though).

I don't know if anybody else here likes Stephen King and his books (i'm NOT talking about the movies..), but personally I love all of his writings - even if the stories themselves can sometimes be a bit cliche - and own most of his novels. I reckon he's one of the best writers of our time, and certainly the most prolific. I dunno about paying that much to be in one of his books, though..... but hey, whatever floats your boat!

Kevin Smith is doing something similar with his next movie, Clerks 2.

Cool. I've never heard of him. What are his movies like?

Edit: Doh! So he's the dude who made Clerks, Mall Rats, Chasing Amy? lol Awesome.

I'm such a dumbass sometimes.. most of the time... yea.

Die in Stephen King's next book.

    Wanna hear a weird story?
I was inside a super-store with my friend. He was looking around for something and I said to myself, "I'm gonna look for something, too". So I went over to the side, where they had a bunch of books. I found my good friend Stephen King and bought the book "The Green Mile". Six months later, I heard that they were gonna come out with a movie.

Die in Stephen King's next book.

Because, of all the books, I picked that one, they were all just sitting there. After I read it, the movie came out and a lot of people were talking about it.

It was a few years until I saw the movie. There are three differences, all extremely minor. It was an amazing translation from the book to the movie.
