There seems to be a few ppl who are keen to become a MOD. The threads like this are not a part of the selection process, there is more to it than that. When I was asked to take part in the MODERATING of this site I was very surprised because it was something I had never mentioned or asked for. Yes the current MODS do discuss future ppl we feel would suit the role of MOD, and I know that threads like this have nothing to do with decisions

Exactly... If you're mod material, then someone knows it. It is important though for people who are interested in moderating these forums.. express that interest. Wether that person is fit to fill the roll is up to the site staff

I know its not part of the official mod delection but I think its a good thermometer for the community response to a prospective mod.
( We all know more are needed just to keep the many boards monitored 24/7.
I dont think anyone can deny there are holes.)

It would be best ( but not essential) for a mod to have rapport and be accepted by the community they will be 'taming' when things get a tad wild. It makes a mods job easier if people respect them.

That said, Im not familliar enough with you to 'vote'

Okay.. judging by the response.. I think that I'm just going to keep on posting and hope that I get noticed by the Site Admin(s). Oh well, thanks for your tips, everyone.
