choosing a vaporizer
I bought vapor brothers for $159 about a month ago. I really like it. I tried pipe two weeks ago and I can't stand the smoke anymore. It's really easy to use. No smell so I don't need hide the smell from my kids anymore. I wish there were some good discrete portable vaporizer available. Anyway, brothers work for me.

i too am looking for a vapo. to use in my dorm room. from all i've heard the convection type(vapoBros and Volcano) are alot better than the direct heating method, conduction, (the glass bulb ones) I think im gonna get the VapoBros one, i can get it all for like 120 from my local smokeshop in houston. good luck and keep us informed on what your gonna buy and how it works.

Vaporbrothers vaporizers are the best boxes you can get, if you ask me.
If you live in california, go to Tutti Fruitti on the venice beach strip. You can pick one up for 100 bucks.

I've got an Aromazap and it works great. If I had to do it over again, however, I'd get the VaporBros. they heat up faster and the long whip should cool the vapor a bit better than the Aromazap. The only advantages to the Aromazap is the fact that they are about $50 less and they look absolutely nothing like any type of paraphanalia.

There are two high end convection brands I know of, the Volcano (500), and the Vapir, which I'm getting soon. These run anywhere from 150-300 depending on what model and if you want a cordless recharable or not. The low end Vapir actually supports bag filling, which is nice because you can fill it up and pass it around.
The very important thing to remember is you're going to be getting about 90% of the THC out of the herb, compared to about 20% if you smoke it. You need a lot less. I've seen too many people pack a gram and make themselves sick.
