Yer right--I haven't done combat duty,only active duty,which is all a soldier needs,in order to be considered a veteran. I just missed the end of the Vietnam war,by about a year or so. The moment I was put on active duty,I began fighting for your freedom..to that end,I studied and trained hard..preparing to respond in a combat role,without prior notice or hesitation. I wish that I could git back in,as I feel the call of duty--very strongly,I even called during DS1,to see if I could git back in..but now I'm too old and crippled..so I support my fellow vets instead and stand firm against the enemy.
