It all matters what you buy. If you get the leaf product, it would take you a few bong loads to really get you to start breaking through, but chances are you won't.

Any extract is pretty potent.

if you really want to trip, go for the "Purple Sticky Salvia". It's expensive, but they sell it at most headshops now a days, and you WILL GET YOUR MONEY'S worth. I guarantee that one bong load that is held in for 10 seconds of 20x purple sticky will have you breaking through.

Salvia is not for the weak hearted. It is a very, very intense, and usually overwhelming. I'd suggest you to read up some more on the drug, and read about other's experiences before messing with this stuff.

Salvia is by far the weirdest drug I have ever done, and I am quit familiar with psychotropics.

I smoked two strong hits of 10x and tripped pretty hard. I had some friends who took 2-3 hits of 15x and tripped so hard they almost lost consciousness and didn't remember a thing.

Salvia is a strange, powerful drug. Before you smoke any, I would advise you to make sure you are VERY comfortable. If you plan on doing it with other people around you, make sure they're not annoying. One time my girlfriend and I did some 15x at the same time. BAD IDEA. She started laughing hysterically, which literally drove me insane until I ran screaming into another room.

I would guess with 5x you would need several strong hits to really trip. Probably at least a small-to-medium bowl. You should probably start with 10x though to ensure you trip but without losing your fucking mind.

Yeah Salvia can be pretty fucking trippy...
I've had a few insane experiences with it, and the only way I can explain it is the most intense 20 minutes or so of your life.
Try it and see, but I don't really recommend doing anything under 10x, that 5x shit is a waste.
